Straws Mighty Legend at the World Show.....ridden by Marty Jones.

Accomplishing the trip to the World show was great!! Legend showed like the Champion that he is. He  was in the top the in all the classes that we needed him to be. He looked so proud and was a perfect gentleman. We were most proud that he took a 10th out of 28 in the senior reining super stakes class, these reiners were awesome!! We had several people looking at him for breeding and asking if he was for sale. After talking it over with Barry, we decided that we might look at offers, but at this time we want to get him home and breed the great mares that are booked to him. I will have pictures up from the world show just as soon as I get them.

 
We'd like to extend a warm welcome from Parsons Blue Ribbon Ranch where our devotion is to improve the Appaloosa breed. We are dedicated to helping young people achieve their goals and dreams by giving them the opportunity to work with horses, on a real facility, and provide knowledge and information to enhance their understanding of the Appaloosa breed.

Barry and Debbie Parson have been breeding Appaloosas since 1978. In 1991 we moved across country from California to be in the beautiful Midwest. With us came our senior stallion Straw Sham. We consider him the beginning of a long journey for what we feel is the betterment of the breed.

Our facility is located in beautiful, central Wisconsin. The ranch is set on 50 acres of beautiful, lush green pastures, with a year round creek. The ranch is equipped with forty stalls, an indoor arena, outdoor arena, turn outs, and an air conditioned lounge for visiting guests.
